Unicorn Vodka added a few more awards to our quickly-growing collection last night, and these are three that we’re especially proud of. The SIP Awards honored Unicorn Vodka with:
The SIP Awards
The SIP Awards is the only international spirits competition that uses consumers as judges. The competition was established to give consumers a voice in selecting the spirits they enjoy.
We definitely appreciate the skill and precision that professionals bring to other competitions. Some of these industry leaders have been training their palettes and sharpening their senses for decades, and their expertise is invaluable.
But Unicorn Vodka is also for the bootstrappers, the innovators, and the visionaries who haven’t quite made their name yet. We’re for the passionate and the creative, no matter what you do for a living, so we want to know what you think as well. And that’s where the SIP Awards come in.
Which is why we were extremely honored to walk away with three stamps of approval last night!
The Medals
These awards mean so much to us.
- Gold for Flavored / Infused Vodka Tasting — We are first and foremost about quality and good vodka, so this one is huge.
- Double Gold for Individual Bottle Design — This echoes (and emphasizes) what the pros had to say in San Francisco last month, and we couldn’t be happier. You get us.
- Innovation Award — The SIP site explains, “Consumer judges deem these spirits as innovative and groundbreaking by highlighting them with this exclusive recognition.” Honestly, gold is great, but this one feels like a hug. This one feels like that awkward-grin-with-the-up-nod move when you see someone at a bar wearing a t-shirt from the same obscure band that you’re wearing and you just know that words are unnecessary.
Recognition for innovation and a gold medal for tasting is a perfect night for us.
