Tequila Tonic

You’ve heard of a vodka tonic, but is tequila tonic a thing? Heck yes it is. A tequila and tonic is a well-balanced cocktail that’s perfect if your bar cart is running low on mixers, if you’re new to cocktail crafting — or just if you need a refreshing cocktail on a summer day.

TONIC

Why tequila with tonic is a match

First, let’s define tonic water from all the other clear mixers and waters. Tonic is carbonated water that is sweetened slightly, with a flavor profile that’s subtle yet complex: It’s bitter, sour and sweet simultaneously. Even better, the carbonation provides bubbles, which adds to the texture of your cocktail. Mixing tonic with your tequila gives it an all-new flavor and texture to enjoy.
