Unicorn Tequila Mule
While a tequila mule (aka Mexican mule) has a secret ingredient that makes it special (spoiler alert: It’s fizzy, spicy ginger beer), the Unicorn tequila mule has another trick up its sleeve. Butterfly pea flower tea infused into the tequila gives this cocktail a brilliant blue hue, which will change right before your eyes as you add your mixers.

More about mule cocktails
The tequila mule is a spinoff of the Moscow mule, a popular cocktail made with vodka and ginger beer. The “mule” part comes from the spicy kick that ginger beer gives a cocktail. While the lore says the Moscow mule dates back to the 1940s, today you can get a Mexican mule made with tequila, a Kentucky mule made with bourbon, a gin buck made with gin and a Missouri mule made with applejack bourbon.
