How to make a vodka gimlet

The vodka gimlet recipe is another variation of a gin cocktail but known for being more strong and more smooth than its gin predecessor.

Ingredients:

• Vodka, 2 oz
• Fresh lime juice, 1 to 2 oz
• Simple syrup, ½ oz
• Ice

Instructions:

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake for at least 30 seconds, until cold. Strain into a chilled martini or rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wedge, peel, or wheel.
